Philippe Starck’s transformation of Parris Landing has impacted everything from the park-like landscaping to the handset that opens the door to your new home. The newly renovated clean modern interiors beautifully complement the buildings’ shipbuilding heritage. Large whimsical Starck designed sculptures are featured both outdoors in the courtyard areas and inside of each building’s atrium space.

Amenities include: a Community Room complete with pool table and 50” plasma television; a Business Center which includes computers, wireless internet access and a conference room; a 2,800sf Exercise Center that includes cardio equipment, a circuit weight system, free weights and room for yoga and Pilates; an Outdoor Pool; a beautifully landscaped courtyard with sculptures and more; all designed with Philippe Starck’s flair for the extraordinary.

Atria
Full-height sky lit spaces detailed with clean modern architectural elements preserve the buildings’ shipbuilding history while placing it firmly on the cutting edge of 21st Century Design. The Starck sculptures add humor and warmth with his unusual interpretation of usual objects. Giant, surrealistic versions of items found in the home fill our atria.
Garage Parking
Included with every unit is a parking spot in the newly renovated garage. The garage is exclusively for the residents of Parris Landing. Valet parking is provided for some residents and their guests.

Exercise Center
Located on the second floor of Building 1, the 2,800 square foot Exercise Center with mirrored walls and signature Starck white curtains holds Precor brand cardio equipment including treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bikes and upright bikes. In addition we have a Hoist brand selectorized circuit training system as well as free weights. All cardio machines have audio plug-ins that connect to the wall-mounted TV’s. There is also space for yoga, Pilates or just stretching out.


Business Center
The Business Center consists of a Computer Room and a Conference Room adjacent to the Community Room on the first floor. Lit by ultra-modern Lightolier fixtures, the Computer Room has a copier/printer/fax machine; four PC’s resting on granite counters; and Internet access. Four white Carve brand chairs provide the workstation seating. In addition, we have wireless Internet access points that allow Parris Landing homeowners to surf the net with their own laptop not only in the Computer Room, but also in the Conference Room and Community Room.

The conference room tables, each 42” x 84” designed by Stanley Friedman for Brueton, are made of tubular stainless steel and topped with laminated glass. FLOS brand pendant lamps designed by Philippe Starck illuminate the room. Eight additional white Carve brand castored conference chairs are placed around the tables. Signature Starck white curtains continue throughout these rooms as in the Exercise Room.


Community Room
With more flowing white curtains lining the perimeter, the Community Room features a 50” Plasma television and DVD player as well as a home theater system all wired to ceiling mounted speakers. In front of the television are Stanley Friedman designed Brueton sofas covered in custom tinted grey falcon leather from Edelman Leathers. Chairs designed by Giorgio Saporti and upholstered in sumptuous yellow and gray fabric sit adjacent to the sofas. The coffee tables with white marble tops are designed by Florence Knoll. End Tables are from Ligne Roset. Behind the seating area are two marble-topped Saarinen designed tables from Knoll. Eight Starck designed Emeco Hudson chairs from Hive are placed around the tables.

A custom-made nine-foot pool table from Golden West is also located in the Community Room. The pool table is made of black cherry stained oak with French style carvings, charcoal gray felt, and metal backed leather drop pockets. FLOS brand pendant lamps designed by Philippe Starck light the table.

In the center of the Community Room is a kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and plenty of sparkling gray and white granite counter space -- ideal for catered parties. The custom made cabinets are clean-lined and stained ebony. The appliances are all stainless steel.


Outdoor Pool
Ocean breezes, ocean views and a pool surrounded by lush green trees; Parris Landing condominium owners come home to a resort every night. Sleek white Brown Jordan pool furniture nestle under cabanas and umbrellas covered in fabric striped in shades of leaf green, pool aqua, and sky blue. Conversation with fellow owners can always be had poolside. Simultaneously, the multi-tiered mahogany deck allows space enough for those who wish to quietly tan while they devour their summer reading list. Parris Landing grill masters can take advantage of the newly installed grills with adjacent umbrella shaded picnic tables. Our fully renovated pool house -- complete with showers and restrooms -- provide poolside comfort and convenience. The newly built rich mahogany fencing affords privacy, while the modern aluminum toned bollard lights created a twinkling glow allowing soothing early evening dips. Just steps from the ocean, our beautifully lit and artfully landscaped pool and walkways, with Philipe Starck sculptures, make Parris Landing one of Boston’s most treasured homes.
